To enhance safety and preparedness, favehotel Solo (Manahan Solo and Solo Baru) conducted a routine fire drill training every six months. This activity aims to provide comprehensive training and understanding to all employees regarding fire disaster management.

The fire drill training will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at favehotel Solo Baru and Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at favehotel Manahan Solo.

The training began with a theoretical session led by Dimas Panji Saputro – Assistant Chief Engineer favehotel Solo (Manahan Solo and Solo Baru). This theoretical session provided in-depth insights into the procedures and techniques for handling fires by the Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP).

After the theory session, participants will take part in a practical fire drill. This exercise mimics real conditions with a simulation of smoke emerging from one of the rooms. In this practice, participants will implement fire extinguishing procedures by the SOP, which includes: quick evacuation where the evacuation procedures ensure that every guest and employee can leave the area safely and swiftly, the use of Fire Extinguishers, which involves the correct technique in using the fire extinguishing equipment available in the hotel, emergency communication, which refers to effective ways of communicating during emergencies to coordinate responses and ensure safety, and finally, smoke handling, which involves actions to be taken when facing smoke to reduce risks and ensure that evacuation routes remain safe.
