Sidoarjo, July 12, 2024 – In celebration of National Children's Day, which falls on July 23, 2024, favehotel Sidoarjo, a strategically located 3-star hotel in the heart of Sidoarjo, East Java, organized a Creative Arts Workshop for Kindergarten Teachers. The event was held on July 12, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rafflesia Ballroom of favehotel Sidoarjo and was attended by 200 kindergarten teachers from Sidoarjo and surrounding areas.

The Creative Arts Workshop aimed to enhance the creativity and artistic skills of kindergarten teachers in educating young children. Participants were taught how to paint with watercolors, create art using Turbo Color, and sculpt as well as make other creative projects using clay.

“We want to help kindergarten teachers improve their creativity and artistic abilities so they can better educate young children,” said Eka Dewi, General Manager of favehotel Sidoarjo.

The workshop was led by experienced art practitioner Mr. Sahroni Ponco Wibowo, who explained that art has many benefits for children, such as enhancing imagination, creativity, and fine motor skills.

In addition to the creative arts workshop, favehotel Sidoarjo also hosted a talk show featuring Dr. Lucy Narya, a pediatrician from Morula Bunda Surabaya.

One of the workshop participants, Mrs. Yuli, said that the workshop was very beneficial for kindergarten teachers.
“This workshop provided us with many new ideas for teaching children in a creative and fun way,” said Mrs. Yuli.
