Sidoarjo, May 25, 2024 – favehotel Sidoarjo once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting creative development by hosting an inspiring Photography & Cinematography Workshop featuring experts in the field. The event, held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, successfully attracted 75 participants from various backgrounds.

This workshop aimed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the world of photography and cinematography. Participants, including amateur photographers, social media content creators, and visual professionals, had a rare opportunity to learn directly from the experts.

In the first session, the workshop covered the basics of photography, lighting techniques, image composition, and effective use of camera equipment. This material was presented by Mr. Arif Santoso, a professional photographer with over 15 years of industry experience. Detailed instruction on both natural and artificial lighting techniques for producing high-quality photos was also provided.

The second session focused on cinematography, where participants learned about techniques for capturing moving images, video editing, and the use of cinematographic equipment. This session was led by Mrs. Dewi Lestari, a renowned cinematographer who has created numerous award-winning films and advertisements. The use of lighting in cinematography was discussed in depth, helping participants understand how lighting can influence the mood and visual quality of videos.

The most exciting part of the workshop was the hands-on field practice, where participants applied the knowledge they had gained under the direct guidance of the instructors. Participants were given the opportunity to explore creative techniques in capturing images and videos and to develop their own visual styles.

The event concluded with a photo hunt activity at several attractive spots in favehotel Sidoarjo. Participants could directly apply all the techniques they had learned while enjoying various aesthetic corners of the hotel prepared as photo locations.
